Our Truck Accident Services

Truck Accident Liability & Negligence Investigation

We conduct a thorough investigation to determine who is responsible for the accident. Because truck crashes often involve multiple parties, drivers, trucking companies, cargo loaders, maintenance providers, or manufacturers, identifying the source of negligence is critical. Our team reviews driver logs, black box data, maintenance records, and federal safety compliance to build a strong and accurate case.

Severe Injury & Damage Compensation Claims

Truck accidents often cause catastrophic injuries and long term financial burdens. We help victims pursue full compensation for medical bills, lost wages, loss of earning potential, rehabilitation, property damage, and long term care needs. Beyond financial losses, we also advocate for compensation related to pain and suffering, emotional trauma, and diminished quality of life.

Insurance Negotiations & Litigation Support

Trucking companies and their insurers work aggressively to reduce payouts. We protect clients from low settlement offers and unfair tactics by handling all communication with insurance adjusters. If a fair settlement cannot be reached, we are fully prepared to take the case to court. Our team develops a strong legal strategy to ensure your rights are defended every step of the way.

Who Is the Responsible Party In A Truck Accident?

A commonly negligent party in these types of claims is the truck operator. As the frontline player when it comes to ensuring safety, a lot of responsibility hangs on the driver to act in a reasonably safe manner. The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) recognizes three of the most common semi truck accident causes:

  1. The truck operator drives out of his or her travel lane or off the road

  2. The driver loses control due to a variety of factors, such as poor environmental conditions, shifting cargo, or bad weather

  3. The truck collides with the rear end of a vehicle in the same lane

The FMCSA provides extensive guidelines to ensure drivers operate trucks safely. 49 CFR 392.9. In fact, most of the provisions in 49 CFR 392.9 explicitly refer to operator responsibilities. When drivers have violated these regulations, they are subject to liability in the accident that the violation(s) caused.
